23. Are webinars available on CD? Or, is the live webinar offered on X-date available on CD?
- Most webinars are available on CD-ROM. Visit the Webinars on CD section to view a listing of all webinars available for order; those not yet recorded are listed with an estimated availability date. Live webinars not yet recorded may be cancelled and therefore CD availability is subject to change or cancelation.
- Webinars on CD use the same recording as the On-Demand webinar. Many of our customers prefer the CD-ROM format however there is a longer production timeline for CDs. Presentations are not recorded until the 1st live session and CDs are typically not available until 10-days after the 1st live session. (Recording format: Windows Media Player video file (.wmv)). A PDF of the webinar PowerPoint is included with webinar purchase and included on the CD-ROM.

26. Connection issues – Live webinar
- Customers are encouraged to test their computer's connection to Live Meeting before the event by selecting the system test link included in all ExpertHeadquarters™ webinar Registration Confirmation and Reminder emails. By selecting this test link, you will join a Live Meeting "Compatibility Test". By performing this compatibility test, you are able ensure that your system is able to then join the webinar on the day of the event.
- Because security and access settings for each financial organization can vary greatly, there are times when a customer's internet connection, security settings, or browser settings negatively impact their webinar viewing experience. If you are experiencing issues logging into the Live Meeting or any other technical issues with an ExpertHeadquarters™ webinar - please contact: EventBuilder - Customer Care at 1.800.290.5900 or email: customercare@eventbuilder.com

27. Connection issues – On-Demand webinar
- Because security and access settings for each financial organization can vary greatly, there are times when a customer's internet connection, security settings, or browser settings negatively impact their webinar viewing experience.
- These technical issues should be escalated as quickly as possible to EventBuilder Customer Care. Wolters Kluwer Financial Services relies on the expertise and knowledge of EventBuilder to ensure the technology is readily accessible and user-friendly for our customers. For any video player or other technical issues with On-Demand webinars - please contact our webinar provider to trouble-shoot and explore solutions: EventBuilder - Customer Care at 1.800.290.5900 or email: customercare@eventbuilder.com.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Do not use Remote Desktop Connections (RDC): Remote desktop connecting can cause instability with media products (Silverlight, Media Player) because of a paging conflict and therefore should not be used when viewing live or on-demand content. In addition, remote desktop connections are not good from a networking point of view and may introduce communications problems affecting the quality of the playback, such as audio synch and screen artifacts.
- When a user who is already logged into the platform finds that they need to move their laptop or PC to another network connection, we recommend a system reboot, or at minimum logout and then log back into the system.
- If user experiences playback issues, pressing the CTRL and F5 keys simultaneously can often resolve the issue by clearing the browser's cache.

28. What are the differences between the formats of the webinars?
Most ExpertHeadquarters™ webinars are available in a variety of formats so our customers have the flexibility to participate at a time and place that works best for them.
- Live webinar sessions include a live audio question and answer period and provide the attendees the opportunity to direct questions to the subject matter experts with Wolters Kluwer Financial Services. Customers who registered for the live session also receive access to an Archive Video for 30-days after the event (video posted within approximately 24-hours after event end). A PDF of the webinar PowerPoint is included with webinar purchase and is available for download before, during and after the live presentation.
- On-Demand webinars are a recording (recorded at a live webinar session) that is streamed over the internet. The registered user and their financial organization will have unlimited access for 30-days. On-Demand is not the best solution for financial organizations who have firewalls systems or low internet bandwidth at their facility that prevent users from viewing streaming video and media over an internet connection. Some customers have no problems accessing streaming video and others use an alternate location to access the On-Demand video (i.e., view at home). A PDF of the webinar PowerPoint is included with webinar purchase and is available for download upon completion of On-Demand registration.
- The Download A Webinar format is the same recording as the On-Demand webinar, but with a "download" the customer saves a "Windows Media Player" video file (.wmv file) to their personal computer hard drive. By saving the video file to their desktop, customers always have access to the video and can share with others in their organization. Downloading a Windows Media File is not the best solution for financial organizations that have security systems that prevent download of files from external sites. Some users are unfamiliar with the download process and therefore are not comfortable saving video files to their computer hard drive. A PDF of the webinar PowerPoint is included with webinar purchase and is available for download upon completion of Download registration.
IMPORTANT NOTES about Downloads: When a customer registers for a "Download a Webinar' they will have immediate access to download the recording and that download capability will expire within 24-hours. As stated in the Terms and Conditions, "Purchases of a "Download a Webinar" are not refundable and may not be cancelled. Purchase of this webinar download allows your financial organization the ability to save a media file for unlimited viewings for your organization. This presentation contains information that is proprietary and confidential to Wolters Kluwer Financial Services."
- Webinars on CD use the same recording as the On-Demand and Download webinars. Many of our customers prefer the CD-ROM format however there is a longer production timeline for CDs. Presentations are not recorded until the 1st live session and CDs are typically not available until 10-days after the 1st live session. Availability is subject to change if live sessions are canceled and we are unable to record. (Recording format: Windows Media Player video file (.wmv)). A PDF of the webinar PowerPoint is included with webinar purchase and included on the CD-ROM.
